If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, we comply with the GDPR when processing your personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to Japan, which has an EU adequacy decision
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and without warranties. To the extent allowed by Japanese law, we
disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose and
non‑infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
- General Limitation: To the extent permitted by the Consumer Contract Act of Japan, Metauni Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Service
- Exception for Gross Negligence: Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, the limitations and exclusions of liability in this Section shall not apply to damages caused by the willful misconduct or gross negligence of Metauni Inc.
- Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted or emailed to you and take
effect 15 days later. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Governing Law: Japanese law applies.
- Jurisdiction: Disputes will be handled exclusively by the Tokyo District Court (first instance).
