ordered. This policy explains when and how refunds and returns may be requested.
1. General Return Policy (Domestic & International)
Unless otherwise required by local laws (including for EU/UK customers), we accept returns under
the following conditions:
- 14‑Day Limit: You must contact us within 14 days of delivery.
- Condition: Returned items must be unused, undamaged, original packaging; all tags included.
- Not Returnable: Perishables, customized items, intimate/sanitary products.
2. Scope and Eligibility
This Policy applies to purchases made within Japan and other authorized shipping destinations. We
do not currently ship to or accept orders from the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United
Kingdom (UK).
3. Defective or Damaged Items (Statutory Warranty)
If you receive the item that is damaged, defective, or not as described:
- Please contact us immediately with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
- We will provide a full refund, repair, or replacement at no additional cost to you, including any return shipping charges.
- This provision is governed by the Civil Code of Japan (non‑conformity to contract) and applicable international consumer protection laws.
4. Return Process
- Request: Email us at info@okinify.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- Authorization: Once your request is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address.
- Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning your item (except in cases of defective goods or statutory withdrawal rights in the EU/UK). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
- Inspection: After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
5. Refunds
- Method: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method (e.g., Stripe, credit card) within 10–14 business days after approval. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider and financial institution.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you have not received your refund yet, please first check your bank account and/or contact your credit card company. 6. Specified Commercial Transactions Act (Japan)
For customers in Japan, this Policy serves as the “Special Provisions on Returns” under the Act on
Specified Commercial Transactions. If no special provision is displayed on an individual product
page, the statutory 8‑day return period may apply to unused items, with return shipping costs borne
by the buyer.
