Thank you for shopping at Okinify, operated by Metauni Inc. (the “Company”). We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and returns are processed.

1. General Return Policy (Domestic & International)

Unless otherwise specified by local laws (such as for EU/UK customers), we accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Time Limit: You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your item to request a return.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Perishable goods, customized/personalized items, and intimate/sanitary goods are not eligible for return.

2. Scope and Eligibility

This Policy applies to purchases made within Japan and other authorized shipping destinations. Currently, we do not ship to, or accept orders from, the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK).

3. Defective or Damaged Items (Statutory Warranty)

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not as described:

  • Please contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the defect.
  • We will provide a full refund, repair, or replacement at no additional cost to you, including the cost of return shipping.
  • This provision is governed by the Civil Code of Japan (Non-conformity to contract) and applicable international consumer laws.

4. Return Process

  1. Request: Email metauni.official@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Authorization: Once approved, we will provide the return shipping address.
  3. Shipping: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item (except for defective goods or EU/UK statutory withdrawals). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  4. Inspection: Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

5. Refunds

  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed via the original method of payment (e.g., Stripe, Credit Card) within 10-14 business days.
  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

6. Specified Commercial Transactions Act (Japan)

For Japanese customers, this policy serves as the “Special Provisions on Returns” (返品特約) under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. If no special provision is displayed on an individual product page, the statutory 8-day return period (at the buyer’s shipping expense) may apply to unused items.
