7. Disclaimer of Warranties

8. Limitation of Liability

  • General Limitation: To the extent permitted by the Consumer Contract Act of Japan, Metauni Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Service.
  • Exception for Gross Negligence: Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, the limitations and exclusions of liability in this Section 8 shall not apply to damages caused by the willful misconduct or gross negligence of Metauni Inc.
  • Liability Cap: Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us (if any) in the 6 months preceding the event, unless such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service or via email. The revised Terms will become effective 15 days after posting. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  • Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
